Tricia MacNeil Baldwin

Tricia MacNeil Baldwin started off as a scenic artist & lighting designer in Miami, Toronto, Ottawa (where she was a professional photographer for 15 years) and Charlottetown. Tricia has her BFA in Design and Technology from Florida State University and her B.ED. from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Photography degree from Algonquin College.

For the past five years Tricia has worked with Arts Smarts, The Confederation Centre Summer Art Camps, Brush Stop Stories and Art, the Adult Art Club and this is her second year as an “Artist in Residence” for Stratford. She also has been teaching various workshops (felting, quilling & acrylic pouring).

Tricia works in a variety of art forms (most notably, acrylic, watercolour or digital). Her paintings can be seen in various galleries, restaurants, shops and hotels throughout the Maritimes (also on her website), as well as in private collections across Canada and the United States.

As an art teacher she is always challenging herself to learn new, different and unique styles, techniques and crafts to bring to her students. Over the summer Tricia has just built her own home studio out in the country where she plans to spend her days painting, illustrating and creating new crafts when not teaching. She also plan on writing & illustrating her own children’s book.
