Join Tricia MacNeil Baldwin in learning the basics of paper quilling a snowflake ❄️ Also called paper filigree, quilling is a paper art where thin strips of paper are rolled into coils and pinched into different shapes. Those shapes are then put together to form all sorts of designs like flowers, snowflakes and animals. Shapes can be used as ornaments, or applied to a substrate like a greeting card or art paper. There is really no limit to what you can do, just use Google Images to see hundreds of examples!
Participants will be given a basic demonstration and pattern for creating snowflakes to take home, and will gain the skills to make anything they can think of.
This event is suitable for everyone 14 and over.
