Felted Wool Landscape or Florals with Tuckamoor Wildcrafts - Full Day Workshop
Felting is a beautiful, relaxing and forgiving hobby ✨ - the possibilities are limitless and the materials are inexpensive. We are thrilled to have Lois from Tuckamoor Wildcrafts on the Island for a fun weekend of workshops where participants will be painting with fibre (not paint!) and learning both needle/dry felting and wet felting. These are Lois' favorite workshops to teach because the participants are always so pleased with the results. ☺️
Each participant in this class will make a felted wool landscape or floral “painting” of their choice with fine, soft Merino Wool and silk. You will learn ways to make different trees, flowers, sunsets, moons, etc… You will then be shown how to mount your artwork onto a deep gallery canvas to display at home. This workshop is suitable for beginners or experienced felters as your piece can be as intricate or as simple as you like!
We are so excited for this felting weekend, and expect tickets to sell quickly. Registration is limited to 14 participants per workshop. More details will be announced soon ☺️
