Julie-Lynn Zahavich

Julie-Lynn (JL) Zahavich is a naturalist, student, and artist.  From a young age, JL has been honing her skills in painting and drawing. Acrylic and pastels are her preferred mediums. Her art often takes the form of whimsical anthropomorphic portraits of animals, and, more recently, a series of floral still lifes.

JL coordinates conservation programs for Island Nature Trust – an environmental NGO based in Charlottetown – and is currently pursuing a M.Sc. in Environmental Management through Royal Roads University, studying forest bird communities in PEI natural areas.
